Beach Read question

I'm trying to find the title and author of a book I read a few years back where the main female almost drowns at the beach trying to save her dog. a man who rents a beach rescues her and her dog. he's in his own rental on the beach writing his next book, but lives in the city. the female is staying at a beach house with her girlfriends. she makes family recipe on jam and sells it at the local market, she then tries to open her own jam business. the male and female fall in love.
