I finished this book in about a day. I personally don't think the book was for me. I'm not really into science fiction so I felt a lot of the references went over my head.

I finished this yesterday and have mixed feelings about it. I'm not mad that I read it; I think it was an important read since it's regarded as a classic in the sci-fi genre, as well as a piece that pioneered cyberpunk, but I didn't necessarily like it. I thought some moments were really beautiful when read like poetry, but most of the narration was incredibly hard to follow. The imagery was incredibly convoluted, the in-world references made it almost impossible to understand the world which Gibson was building, and the characters were under-developed.

I did still find it a somewhat interesting read, but I have a lot of mixed feelings over it.
