Play Book Tag discussion

Overall this was a very enjoyable read with some interesting characters, though there were some quite aggravating parts due to the narrative choices made by the author. Many of the characters, most of whom are in their forties, seem to be having a mid-life crisis, and so this book did at times just show how dissatisfied some of the characters were with their lives. The book was told from the point of view of a third-party narrator, and I think I would have enjoyed it even more if Toby and Rachel had told their own stories. Due to the structure of the book, the narration was a bit all over the place at times, as the author went often went back to an event that we had previously seen to fill in some more of the back story.
