This thread is where you can chat about all things PIFM, ask questions and once books have been read, review your selected reads. A complete free for all.

PLEASE NOTE:

PIFM is meant to be FUN and not to be taken seriously. I would appreciate it if all participants just chilled and not get worked up about voting, who votes, who doesn't, etc. Please bear in mind that some will just want to vote, many don't come on everyday and most of us have time constraints. I just want a relaxed approach to it all and for you all to just enjoy the process! I'd really appreciate your courtesy in this matter. Many thanks.

Kirsten (kmcripn) Pick It For Me - please join in - no pressure - just a great way to reduce my TBR (to be read) stacks.

Linda Liske | 8 comments This sounds like a good past time for me. I use Kindle — mostly on my phone— so my TBR books are on a list of about 100 with titles and authors. I also joined FB ‘Thriller Book Lovers’ with 150 K members. They find me good Thrillers all the time.

I really love online chats when i finish a book. Freida McFadden has a chat on every one of her books and I head right for it whenever i finish one of hers.

Does GoodReads have a chat for specific books? How do i get there? I guess I can read reviews and reply. Any other place I should be looking? There is lots of hidden things on here that I was not aware of. I have been on Goodreads forever, as you could tell by the thousand books I’ve rated. LoL. Also, I’m obviously OLD ! LoL.

Kirsten (kmcripn) I've got a 3 way tie! Anyone want to help?

Sophie | 1126 comments Pinch, punch, first of the month!
Kirsten I've just changed my vote :)
I too had a tie but have broken it myself by picking up Horse this morning. Not very far into it but so far it's proving to be fascinating, so very pleased with my decision.

Kirsten (kmcripn) That's great. I haven't read Horse, but I loved People of the Book and The Secret Chord by the same author.

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments I have a 3 way tie too. By the way, Sophie, I have heard Horse is pretty good.

I will change my vote to Paris if it helps.

Sophie | 1126 comments I’ve just finished Horse and loved it. Rarely does a book move me to tears but my goodness this one did on several occasions. It will stick with me for a long time I think.

That's great. I know that her book The Secret Chord reduced me to tears too.
