I am glad you are liking it so far! I liked the premise of the book, but for some reason it just didn't really play right for me. I thought it could have been amazing, but found it to be meh, but I think I am in the minority on that.

I agree with you! The concept was interesting, but after the first few pages, it just kept getting boring.

No I agree with that. I didn't think it was meh, but also didn't think it was amazing. I feel it could have been a lot better, but still liked it

I have seen a lot of reviews where people have said they cried all throughout, so I wish you the best on your journey!

audrey (completely gone rn) i just finished it yesterday, my review is in the works but i definitely cried the whole way through, i’m giving it 4 stars. i agree with what was said above, it was boring and meh at times but i think overall it sends a really important message about dealing with loss and grief.

I agree! I thought the message was important. So sorry you cried all the way through 😭

noo | 2 comments I like the concept of the book and the writing isn't bad but I just can't get addicted to it. It's not interesting enough to keep me reading. It is kinda boring so I'm taking longer than usual to finish this. It's not a bad book though.

I agree with both of you, Aloise and Aru!

E.K. Frances | 99 comments I'm not a huge fan of Romance, but I like sad books, so I thought I would like this, but I couldn't get through the intro - I found it too depressing :( (Maybe I like sad endings rather than sad books ...)

message 13: by kendall₊ ⊹ (new)

kendall₊ ⊹ i agree with everyone above i felt like it could have been a really good story but just the way that it was written didn’t have me crying or really that sad. i mean it was sad but i was just looking for something to make me sob and choke on tears. there were some parts that were very touching but other parts were just meh.

Ilse | 44 comments ageed, I also didn't really like the fact that it never really answered the fantasy aspect of it (like the reason why they only had a limited time etc.)

I agree with that. I wish it could have explained that more. Also, why did it make the time shorter when she allowed others to talk to him?
