I am also reading this for another BOTM club. The first chapters were a little challenging to get through, but it gets better!

The pacing a is a little odd in this book

Yes it is. At the start especially.

It gets better in like middle and then gets weird again…. The pacing of Lightlark is honestly all over the place in my opinion. Nightbane is way better with its pacing

I’ve read all 3 in this series and the 3rd although ended well felt so slow compatible to the other 2. Nightbane being my fave I think, I enjoyed the internal conflict and loving 2 at a time, being 2 people. Another 2 coming to this series apparently 😊

girlllll noooooo I haven't started skyshade yet but I was hoping it would be paced like Nightbane. The pacing was just right. I am still gonna read it but dang I was hoping lol
