Diana Hryniuk | 837 comments I was intrigued by the idea of reading a story about a pandemic that was written before the real one occurred. After experiencing the Coronavirus, some parts did feel a bit exaggerated or far-fetched, but I still found the story captivating and was fully engrossed in it. I particularly appreciated how the author chose to tell the story through two timelines—one following an actor’s life before the pandemic. I enjoyed how these timelines eventually intertwined, and I especially loved discovering the small details that connected the old world with the new, post-apocalyptic one. It was like finding Easter eggs in a movie.

What stood out to me most was how the author made the post-apocalyptic narrative not overly grim but rather optimistic. I liked (view spoiler).
