Hello all,
I had listened to the audiobook, and may have missed this, but didn't Claudia make a deal with Charlie, that for the room and board she provided for the night, he would bring her back batteries for the electric siren she has to deter wolves? Did he ever go back to give her the batteries she needed?

I am curious about this as well. From what I can remember from the audiobook, I don't recall the event of bringing her new batteries as a whole scene. Perhaps when he returned at the end of the book, it's mentioned briefly that he brought along batteries for her?
When looking at how the kingdom was saved, they may not have been necessary anymore!
