I have recently published a book on Amazon (https://amzn.eu/d/eotsyJW) and was really excited until I realised that it's not that easy to get people to read your stuff. Should I continue to put my time and effort into writing and publishing? By the way, you can get my book for free if you are on Kindle Unlimited. Otherwise, it's very cheap anyway. I was just hoping to get this thing moving and get some motivation to continue

Keep writing. In the end, yes, it's nice to make money. However, few of us will make much more than "beer money" off of our books. The important part is remaining creative and honing your craft. As long as those who do read the books are pleased, then you're not failing. And, if you don't keep throwing the spaghetti at the wall, you'll never make it stick.
