Elisabeth (Bets) (livingforjesus) | 1194 comments I’m currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo. So far so good. But I’m only 50 pages into a 1400 page book 🤣

Currently I'm reading a contemporary novel. The last classic I read was the first volume of Moralia by Plutarch.

message 9: by Clare (new)

Clare | 19 comments Anne of Green Gables, although for my co-op I'm reading a book by Nathaniel Hawthorne.

Was it good?

Monte Cristo is so fun so far but I'm not very far at all.

Elijah Z. (elijah6734) | 92 comments Sorry for the late reply, Elisabeth! Yes, I did enjoy Moralia. It contained many moral principles that overlapped with Biblical teachings. Overall, the reading was very insightful.

Have you finished Monte Cristo?

message 12: by Cari (new)

Cari Legere (carithewriter) | 20 comments I'm also reading Monte Cristo. About 40% through

Elisabeth (Bets) (livingforjesus) | 1194 comments No I didn't get it finished, I got distracted by many other books. I'm hoping to start it again here in the next month or two tho!

I read three Jane Austen books last month and really enjoyed them.
