Do you think there will be any more babies/offspring in the IAD books?

It would be really cute if Mariketa and Bowen had a few babies soon and I think Mariketa was starting to lean toward having them sooner rather than later at the end of Wicked Deeds, but I think Neomi and Conrad would probably get pregnant first. Or maybe even Lachlain and Emma, despite the fact that he's scared to get her pregnant. I think if she pushed the issue, he'd give in. I wonder if Holly will give birth during the series...

I would guess we'll see Holly give birth in the series. I hope she won't be pregnant that long. Poor girl!

I'm thinking that Neomi and Conrad/Lachlain and Emma/Nikolai and Myst will be some of the next couples to get pregnant.

Yeah, it's definitely possible that we'll see Holly give birth in the series...but you know how KC is with her simultaneous timelines. LOL. Essentially, the majority of the books have all happened like within a year time-span, if I’m remembering right. So, depending on how quickly everything relating to the Accession happens, she might still be pregnant when the series ends.

I'm excited to see the Ascension. I have a feeling that Holly will give birth during it, because her child is fated to play a role in the events. I'm remembering that correctly, right?

I loved Nix's nickname for Cade. The Virginator. What were the other ones?

Well, Holly's babies are supposed to be the ultimate warriors of good...but if they're supposed to play a role in the Accession, wouldn't they have to be old enough to fight? I didn't think the Accession was supposed to be that far off, but then time is kind of relative when it comes to the Lore because most of them have been alive for so long. LOL.

Maybe KC will be jumping 15-20 years into the future...or perhaps they'll actually play a role as babies/toddlers. I guess we'll find out!

Since we just read Demon from the Dark...I would love to see Malkolm as a father. Even though they inherited a little one, whom he is GREAT with, it would be nice to have one for their own.

I have a feeling we will NEVER see the or read about the actual Ascension. I could be wrong, but I think since the timeline is so close together for every book or pretty much at the same time that the Ascension is still SUPER far away.

I think since she's half Valkyrie then she might be able to. Not sure.

She can if she eats regular food.

I love when babies play into stories because love when the men show more of their sensitive side and a fierce protectiveness comes out even more.

Yes, she can conceive she has to eat in order too, they talk about it in her book, she thinks she can't but I think either Nix or Regin tell her that she can because her mother had her with a vamp.

KC keeps teasing us about the arrival of the Accession. Every book in the Lore notes it says, "Every five hundred years...or right now."

Speaking of offspring, how about Thad? Who's his mom and dad? He doesn't exactly have little feet, lol!

Here is a question for all you IAD experts: Holly is pregnant with twins. Because she is valkyrie, does that mean she'll only have daughters? Can valkyries have sons? Will her human blood play a part maybe so that she can have boys? Since this is the Lore, the warrriors of ultimate good could certainly be girls (hey, she's part Furie too!) and could be awesome. I'd love to see Cade teaching his little girls how to fight with a sword (or, should I say, Gladius?)

I would say that she will probably have a boy and a girl (just my feeling), and I don't think she will only be restricted to having girls, since she is a hybrid, and also I'd like to think Cadeon's genes will come into play.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the valkyries are born of a supernatural pregnancy (Odin/Freya/their mother) in olden times. I imagine that the newer generation of valkyrie progeny will follow the normal reproductive rules.

I think it's likely it will be a boy and a girl too. It's just the only valkyrie children I'm aware of are Emmaline and Holly (both born of full valkyries) so they're half and half. I can't think of any boys.

I did hear recently from someone who attended one of KC's Lothaire book signings that Holly's twins will figure into a book down the road.

I wonder what Emma and Lochlain are up to. They haven't been in the last few books.

I would say they're working on it. LOL

Yes, I really like Emma and Lachlain. They kicked off the whole series so I hope that KC will swing back around to them at some point. Emma had a tiny bit part in Lothaire which was kind of fun. Maybe she'll factor into the whole Horde crown thing with Kristoff since she's the other legitimate heir.

I haven't read Lothaire yet, but I'm glad to hear that she she's in it.

I just wish I could work out how much time has past since Pleasure of a Dark Prince, because I know for sure that's the one year mark of the series.

Ellen, I haven't quite figured out the time aspect either. I agree it has to be around a year or so.

Well I know at the start of POADP Garreth had been chasing Lucia for a year. But after then it gets fuzzy again.

Same here! I think the books overlap in time. I have to say I give KC kudos for keeping it all together.

KC is the ultimate in that. Everything can be brought back as a plot point and she's never broken one of the Lore rules to do it. I think she's a legend.

I am always impressed by how well her world building holds up. The Lore is really complicated but it all works and I haven't found a Lore rule she's broken yet either.
