What is the plot of Disclaimer?
Follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a television documentary journalist whose work has been built on revealing the transgressions of long-respected institutions.

This series has 7 episodes staring on Oct 11th and ending Nov 8th - so now it can be binged.

Parents Guide

Trivia
Gary Oldman was originally rumored to be cast but was replaced by Kevin Kline.

Goofs
In multiple episodes, Jonathon uses the same lens throughout the series, a medium length telephoto. Such a lens would be incapable of focusing on close-in subjects such as selfies with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine.

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments I got sucked into seeing the first episode of this without having read the book, so I will probably finish it off that way.

Anyone read and book and watched the series? Which was better?

Sandy, I watched 2-3 episodes before seeing I could borrow the audiobook on Hoopla, so then I listened to the whole thing which reignited my interest in the series. At a point it becomes repetitive and seems bogged down. So the book revealed a HUGE twist and I very much wanted to see how it played out.

Thinking back I wish I hadn't read the book because knowing the twist before it happened on screen sort of spoiled it for me. Not that it still wasn't fantastic, but you know what I mean.

The series follows the book very closely but the very end was a bit different.

☮Karen | 78 comments And fun fact: Watch for the housecats to make cameo appearances in almost every scene! I had a blast seeing them and pointing them out to my husband. They're almost unnoticeable like part of the set, but very clever, I thought. Someone obviously is a cat lover.

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments Thanks Karen - I will watch for the cats...lol!
