January 2025 Mini Challenge

RULES

** Books DO NOT all have to be mysteries. You can use any genres.

** A book can be used only once for this challenge, but can be used for other challenges (Seasonal, World Trip, Ultimate, etc.).

** You DO NOT have to choose books in advance, and can change your mind at any time if you do.

** Do as many as you are able and have fun!

Bringing in a Brand New Year
Song by B.B. King

1. At the stroke of midnight
On that great big holiday

Read a book with a time of day in the title (e.g.: dawn, morning, noon, afternoon, evening, nighttime, midnight).

2. We're gonna have a ball, and that ain't all
I'm gonna chase my blues away

Read a book with a blue cover OR a book that makes you laugh (how many will try to combine both criteria in one book?).

3. Chorus:
I'll be bringin' in a brand new year
Bringin' in a brand new year
So listen dear, won't you meet me here?
While I'm bringin' in a brand new year

Read a newly acquired book, whether it’s one that was gifted, one you bought yourself, or recently borrowed).

4. Gonna be a great big parade
I got my resolution made

Read a book related to a popular New Year’s resolution.
(Top ten: https://staffordshirecommunitylearnin... )

5. Gonna ride above the stars
We might even take a trip to mars

Read a book with a night sky on the cover or that has “star” in the title.

I'll be bringin' in a brand new year
Bringin' in a brand new year
So listen dear, won't you meet me here
While I'm bringin' in a brand new year

Oh, sailin' down on a rainbow
I'll flirt with lady moon
If she sighs or winks her eye
I won't be back 'til June

I'll be bringin' in a brand new year
Bringin' in a brand new year
So listen dear, won't you meet me here?
While I'm bringin' in a brand new year
