When in Canada, what do you do? Visit Niagara and other sites? Well, of course but first things first - go to the local bookshops and meet a local author. And today I'd like to introduce you to J. Patricia Anderson who lives in Ottawa and writes fantasy with a touch of science fiction.

I'll share details with you another time about J.Patricia's series of fantasy novels but, today, as it's Halloween, I'm going to focus on Your Blood And Bones, a novella.

Your Blood and Bones is a standalone dark fantasy novella about a girl turning into a monster and her desperate search for a cure. A touch of body horror makes it the perfect spooky season read!

I’m already a third of the way through the book and am enjoying its imagination, world- building and suspense.
