The sniper plot is excellent (despite my issues with the revelations at the end).

The soap opera drama with the characters is annoying.

I liked this story. I had no idea how Sam and her team were going to find the killer since the murders seemed so random.

I agree with Lauren: the soap opera is getting to be a bit much.

The sniper plot did keep me guessing and anxious until the end.
