I'm not sure why people keep adding this quote to Goodreads, but its source is a fanfiction (https://archiveofourown.org/works/317...), not Madeline Miller's "The Song of Achilles".

Can you tell me the name of the book, so I can see if its on Goodreads?

Sorry, I hadn't noticed the page is only accessible to registered users.
The quote is from the fanfiction (not a book) "Recognition" by captainskellington (not a published author or notable person).

Fanfiction is allowed on Goodreads but the author can get it removed under certain circumstances, so that is why I asked. I could have changed the author in that case.

I've deleted the 2 examples that were credited to Achilles (!) 0 & 2 likes respectively, but I can't delete the two credited to Ms Miller as they have 14 & 28 likes. Can you edit the title of this thread to add [needs a Super] or similar? This can only be done in the desktop view.

The fanfiction author isn't currently on Goodreads and I'm not sure they would want to be, so it's probably best to just delete the quotes.

And the people liking it thought it was in the 'main' book anyway. I have deleted the quotes.
