Time to Vote for the First Tag of 2025!

I will be very happy with any of these options. I really wanted the family tag for BWF, because there are so many good options in every genre, mood, and location. I have a lot of good Canada books on my TBR, and I found a new Canadian fantasy author I really like this year. I’m in the mood for a sweet Holiday book right now. I might not want to read a lot of sweet books in one month but one or two are always welcome for a healthy balance. (Like chocolate!)

Yes I thought of you right away when I saw that!

Hmm, “other” isn’t usually an option. That might be a carry-over from a different poll. Anita was doing this in an airport after all.
If the books on the regular tag lists look boring (or old), click on the genre page instead to find different lists or newer books with the tag.

The options might not sound exciting, but it’s worth taking a look at the lists. I often find surprises, such as a book on my TBR that I would never have guessed would have that tag. A Canada tag doesn’t necessarily mean the book is about or set in Canada. It might be a science fiction book written by a Canadian author. The family tag might be given to a book in any genre as well, e.g. if someone thought that the relationship between two siblings was interesting.
It’s worth voting if there is one option you’d rather avoid.

'Sweet' threw me for a second and I found the linked list to be odd. But then I remembered the multiple cozy mystery series I have read from and have more to read from -- cakes, fudge, cupcakes, bakeries, and more. I think I have a pastry chef memoir around here too. Or something. Oh I could totally get into that!
And no need to match letters!
Canada is easy as is family. I might just have to go eenie meanie minie moe.

Woohoo! And no need to count tags (well not so obsessively anyway)! I’ll be happy to give away my tag-match crown to a worthy successor next year.

😅😅
I always wondered what would happen if I picked "other"

Sweet would have been greater after Sad but since I have been reading a ton of Christmas books this month (which I don't usually do), I feel a bit sugared out.
Now that BWF is over, I totally forgot that we would be picking a new tag!

I want to see the same one :)! There are many fabulous books that would fit.

Thanks for the warm welcome back!! So appreciated. The weather was amazing so I liked that, but there were a few issues with the ports. The wind was too strong and the tenders couldn't operate. So there was more "at sea" days than expected.
I was also the youngest passenger on the ship I believe. Or very close to it. My dad, at the age of 80, seemed like he was 60 on the relative scale.
All in all though, I got a much needed break from work, cleaning, cooking, etc., so that was awesome!!
Now, I'm pushing to hit my 50 books for the year. I'm up to 47. Eek! Looking for the very short ones on my list.
At any rate, I have a long to do list for PBT, and I'll try to chip away at it a bit each day until I am caught up. Thank you in advance for your patience!!!!

Sweet, right Cindy!?!?!?!
Actually I think my vote will most likely go your way. Fingers crossed, I like that tag.

Wow, maybe I should go on a cruise to realize how young I still am. Do they still have clubs with dancing?
I just voted.

Thinking I need a cruise for the same reason.

I'm not going to make my target for this year either. 2024 has been very busy and almost all in a bad way. On the positive I now have forced down time as everything has shut for Christmas so I can't apply for more jobs and all my students in all 6 y12 classes passed with lots of As and even an A+. Still can't get a job though.
Reading time until Jan 7th when I can start trying again.
