Early Life
Born as the sole son of Queen Jaz and King Aymer, Malkar was raised under the weight of immense expectations. As the heir to the Kai dynasty, he was groomed from a young age to be a leader, embodying the strength and charisma demanded of Wesreales' rulers.
His magic, Illusion, first manifested during a public ceremony at age 10. What began as harmless displays of mirages and dazzling images quickly evolved into a potent tool of manipulation. Under the tutelage of royal advisors, Malkar learned to use illusions not only as a weapon but also as a means of control, swaying both allies and enemies alike.
Despite his privileged upbringing, Malkar’s childhood was not without challenges. He idolized his father’s strength and leadership but often clashed with his mother’s more diplomatic approach to ruling. His two sisters, Reyna and Neyna, share a close bond with him, though they often act as a counterbalance to his arrogance, grounding him when his ego gets the better of him.
Military Training
Like all Mystics, Malkar was required to join the military at 18. However, as a royal, his training began years earlier, making him an exceptionally skilled warrior by the time of his conscription. Malkar excelled in combat and strategy, but his impatience and need to prove himself often led him into risky situations.
During training, Malkar became known for his ability to deceive opponents with his illusions, creating entire battlefields of false soldiers, traps, or terrain. This earned him respect and fear among his peers, though his arrogance alienated some of his comrades.
Conflict with Xiea Fang
Malkar sees Xiea Fang as a direct challenge to his authority. Her independence and defiance of traditional power structures irritate him, especially since she consistently proves herself capable of outmatching his expectations. To Malkar, Xiea represents a wild card—a potential ally or a rival whose unpredictability unnerves him.
Despite his dismissive attitude toward her, rumors circulate among their peers that his harshness hides a growing admiration (or possibly more). Their sharp verbal sparring and competitive clashes on the training grounds have become a source of entertainment—and speculation—for those around them.
Present Life
Malkar is currently stationed at a Nexus Node, a crucial military outpost near a major Ley Line. As a leader among the younger generation of Mystics, he shoulders the dual responsibility of proving himself to the military elite and upholding his family’s legacy.
While he outwardly projects confidence and authority, His impatience and struggles with empathy stem from a fear of failure, though he would never admit it openly.
