Cole Travers I recently picked up a (relatively) old (1957) edition of King Lear by William Shakespeare from the Folger Library and published by S&S. The ISBN10 is as follows: 0-671-44137-X. This ISBN currently only points to a book called Guy de Fontgalland: Un sacrifice de louange by Ludovic.

Cole Travers Here: https://imgur.com/a/king-lear-qMN4JXv
is a scanned photograph of the cover.
It is 125 double pages with 45 pages of preamble.
So 295 pages in all.

Cole Travers I cannot find any sources anywhere, but given the age of the book I don't think that is atypical.

message 6: by Cleo (new)

Cleo Pau | 2340 comments It's ok. The cover contains also relevant printing details. The only question is the prefix in the ISBN: 0-671. Where did you take it from, can we see that it belongs indeed to this book. The last 6 characters are already on the cover.

Regarding the number of pages, this is how it should be: The number of pages in a book is meant to include all content except for advertisements and preview chapters for other books. (Included end material may include acknowledgments, afterwords, appendices, bibliographies, glossaries, indexes, notes, and suggested discussion questions.)

As soon as you will answer, I will be notified, and I'll try to add your book.

Jolien van Loenen | 1888 comments Archiving due to non-response. You are welcome to add a new request if you'd still like this book to be added. In that case follow the guidelines as per GR template ‘How to request a book to be added to Goodreads’
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Don't reply to this post as once it's archived it's unlikely to be read by a librarian.
