Harry Potter Rant!

Thaaaannnnkk youuu. Yes. I've read all the books and seen the movies so I'm not biased, but even like the first I read them I was like "why do people obsess over this??" And I could list like ten books/series right now that I personally think are better. I personally don't think HP deserves like five big park sections at Univeral (a massive theme park) plus at least like four rides (and only at Universal Orlando too. There's probably more at the other Universal). But that's just me. If people like it, I'm glad. This is just my opinion.

But that does not mean the movies are bad. Or the books would be. It's kind of funny, because J.K. Rowling has such an amazing ability to choose for every character such subtle preferences/ differances in their personality, such diverse i mean (english is not my first language..) and also the characters are so clear in some way, i'm wondering if she did it on purpose.
When i think about it.. His father (James Potter) was also kond of self-centered. Which Harry kind of did not whant to hear.. haha
Mirror mirror.
Throughout the entire book series, I cannot help but feel that Harry is so annoying and self centred. I never felt this before I read the books, but now I have a deeper insight into him I find him soooooo jarring.
Listen, I understand his life literally sucks: dead parents, dead godfather, dead friends, most dangerous wizard of all time wants him dead etc… but I cannot shake the feeling that if it were Ron or Mione in his position, he would NOTTT go to the lengths they are for him. I find that he can be very selfish a LOT of the time. I know he is, in fact, the main character…. but he seriously has stage 4 main character syndrome.
Does anyone else feel this way? I just really find that he does not ever consider other peoples situations, and he does not realise or care the lengths that people go to help him.
