As a mischievous undergrad I happened to have the best laser pointer on campus.
It was one of the earliest of the green variety; boasted a 3/4 mile range, and had a toggle to shoot as line or dot. Another toggle would put it in 'always-on' mode, hands-free. And it was all just palm-sized.
But that was a while ago and today the consumer optics industry is much changed.
I'm unsure where to turn now that I need a replacement. There's dozens of companies out there these days.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a powerful (green) handheld model?
