Powerless
question
Powerless vs Red Queen?

If you've read both books, what were your opinions in the controversy? Which one do you like better?

I have read both books. I did read Powerless first though even though it came out years later. KAI AZER IS MY ROMAN EMPIRE. Nothing will EVER top powerless for me. Red Queen really just didnt do it for me, I mean it has a great storyline but idk

Nothing can beat red queen. imo powerless basically just copy pasted its plot
Powerless was great and so as red queen but I feel as if glass sword (the second book of red queen) I wasn’t as hooked as I was with Reckless (the second book of Powerless) but, I still need to finish the red queen series I’ve only read the first and the second and read the entire Powerless series. So who knows?
(I will come back later to say my piece after and yes I will not be biased!)

Very similar plots but Kai....
I do have to say Red Queen
I do have to say Red Queen
Honestly Red Queen is just not it, now dont get me wrong it has it’s good moments but unless it’s like the first fantasy book you read(which it was for me and I absolutely loved it at the time) its not that great, like there is definitely better books. Powerless is better(in my opinion) but honestly it sorta felt like a retelling of the hunger games with literal scenes copied and pasted from Red Queen, but in all seriousness they deffo did it better
I loved them both. If you want more romance, you should go with Powerless. If you want more fantasy and fighting, you should read Red Queen
imo they have pretty much the same world building and characters (Maven/Kai, Cal/Kitt, and Mare/Peadyn act the same) i'd say red queen tho bc it has better writing
Honestly, I feel that can't even be a comparison. There's no way any book can be better than Red queen, let alone powerless 😏
Powerless is pretty much the same plot as Red Queen but...Powerless did it better
