I add WP and AO3 because I'm used to it, as I tried to fill in the gap left by Linde.
For example, in this case, this 'book' has 10k words. If it was AO3 or WP, this couldn't be added as it isn't novel length. The same rule would apply here?
There is an EPUB file for sale at the site, so if it was any other platform, it would be eligible to be added to GR.
Also, OP states Taboo as the publisher, what would make Smashwords a not accepted source.
This is the kind of doubts that I get when dealing with other platforms that aren't WP and AO3.
And I'm not that interested in adding fanfic so that I would try to clear them.
This is not a thread for regular users to make their own request.
There are some rule regarding fanfics. They can be valid, if...:
- They are completed, so not a work in progress, before they are added
- They are novel-length (this is a grey area):
To convert pagecount/wordcount/time length:
- According to Wattpad, an english reader reads on average 225 words per minute.
- An assumption made before is that a page contains on average 325 words (thank you Linde).
- Some authors do not want their fanfiction to be added to Goodreads, or they can ask for it to be removed. For them we are allowed to delete it.
