I read Infinite Realm on RR when it first came out. Eventually dropped it. I'll check the others out, though. Thanks!
Quick question about "Player Reached the Top": Is it entirely set inside a VRMMO? Or does it eventually break out into the "real world"?

Yeah, I dropped it fairly early on RR. Doubt I'll try it again. I hate re-reading things.
Tried Player Reached the Top. Translation was horrible. Only got a little over 25% in.
Going to give Dragon Heart a go, now.

Mayor of Noobtown, the fecking pumas crack me up.
I shall seal the heavens. Chinese book wuxia cultivation. Awesome translation by Deathblade.

I've read most of ISSTH. I'm right at the end, but I just can't make myself care enough to finish it, for whatever reason. Beginning and middle was great, though. Just got burnt out on the big war at the end.
And The Two Week Curse is in my dropped folder. Didn't even care enough to leave a review, looks like.

The System Apocalypse

So if not Litrpg...Have you heard of the Darkover books by marrion zimmer Bradley? How about Pern by Anne McCaffrey? Dragonlance by Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman?
There is lots of great older stuff out there. lol

It starts with Bethany Anne, a cold case investigator with a strong moral compass, aimed primarily on finding justice for those cannot fight for themselves and finding closure for the victim's families, long bereft of hope. Her career is right where she wants it, until she finds out that she has less than six months to live.
Unless she accepts the offer of a man claiming to be millennia old.
Her decision could make the difference for more than those on Earth, and if she accepts, then the consequences of her actions will reach into the future beyond at least two Armageddons, The Age of Exploration, The Age of Maddness, The Rise of and The Age of Magic, and The Endgame.
This is a completed series, probably. With a hint that some minor characters might one day tell their own stories.
Oh, I did mention that it isn't exactly LitRPG or even GameLit. While one subseries is definitely Game Lit, the books do contain characters who continuously grow stronger, essentially leveling up, gaining new abilities and powers. The MC is definitely OP, although she stops struggling to grow.

Queen Bitch by Michael Anderle

Sorry!

Books mentioned in this topic
The Wandering Inn (other topics)Life in the North (other topics)
Anything with 5+ parts in the series. Doesn't have to just be LitRPG, just fantasy-related with a weak to strong/OP MC.
