I really enjoyed this book and am not sure why I took so long to read it!!! So far it is my frontrunner.

I did as well. I can see this having a good chance during the debates.

@Susan - I would like to see it win but it is not always the best book that wins!! Let the games begin!!

Just finished, but don't think I liked it as much as everyone else so far. I just found parts of it really contrived. Like how they moved out of their first town, and she ends up in Ottawa, but so did everyone else who was significant to her story - her neighbor, and Alfred, etc.

That said, it's probably still my favorite so far, along with A Two-Spirit Journey. I have one more to go, so we'll see where I end up.
