My husband and I liked Severance and will watch S2 once it's finished. We're not much for the week-to-week and prefer to binge shows once all the episodes have been released. With Severance, we may re-watch S1 prior to 2 so we remember where it left off.

I read some of Hugh's WOOL (The Wool Trilogy ) many yrs ago and I think the show does a good job. I didn't read his continuation with DUST and SILO, and as I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm bad about reading after I've watched the show. We like the show though and enjoyed it more when we could jump from one to the next without the wait. Some eps of S2 were a bit slow though.

- Servant (ended) <-- so weird, but not bad; some seasons better than others
- Shining Girls (ended) <-- meh; disappointment
- Swagger (?) <-- don't like basketball, so didn't watch, but my nephew has a part in it 😁
- Lessons in Chemistry (ended) <-- really good
- Foundation (on-going) <-- not bad
- Bad Sisters (on-going) <-- love the actresses, but they frustrate me; laugh throughout though
- Black Bird (mini series) <-- very good
- Silo (on-going) <-- well done lit rep

- Shrinking (on-going) <-- like, more b/c of the actors, I think

Wow, that is a lot of shows to check out. Great list. I will try to get to a few of these but I really just don't watch TV that much. Of those I've watched
--Lessons in Chemistry>> loved but it is very different from the book which I loved more.
--Shrinking>> watched a few and thought I would keep going as I love the actors and the idea. What I watched, I really liked.
--Bad Monkey>> couldn't get into. All the rest of my family were glue to the TV
--Silo>> really good but strings you along. I would wait until it is completed.
--Severance>> really good and weird.

My hubby is watching and seems interesting
--Foundation>> but seems to frustrate him too

Movies, I really liked "CODA" and "Fly Me to the Moon"

We watched Wolfs. It wasn’t their best movie, but a fun buddy movie with two guys I don’t mind watching act 😏

I tell people that I don't really watch TV yet as you can see above, I've watch quite a bit just on Apple alone. Once I start listing them, I'm like, what? And yea, I drop a lot but if I go over to Netflix & Prime there are even more, Outlander, iZombie, etc... loved Queen's Gambit, loved the first couple of season of The Crown, etc., etc...etc... I watch a lot more than I think I do.

Murderbot's last episode of the first season is July 11th. They really only have the last part which if they stick at all to the book(s) will be (view spoiler)[ him getting bought by Mensah, going to Preservation station and when left only to decide what he wants to do, he decides he wants to leave. (hide spoiler)] I suspect they will change up the way it gets there but keep the overall 'what happens'.

So far they have changed up slightly, everyone's character just a bit different and totally changed up how everything happened though the outline is still the same.. I think the characters are sillier and not as intelligent seeming, which might make them a bit more humorous in some ways. Mensah is not as big a presence, an authority, though she is definitely more... worldly than the others, just not as much as her book counterpart. Murderbot is more questioning of his own person and less... humorous himself? The end of the second to last was not as good as the books where (view spoiler)[in the book he changes armor with one of Greycris' sec units and then infiltrates their group. Instead in the TV series he pretends to give preservation up and ends up jumping with Mensah down a cliff (hide spoiler)], which while I found parts of it humorous I didn't find it believable as well as the book. (view spoiler)[ Really if I were Greycris, I would've shot him at several weirdness points. Also Mensah would have been so dead even falling on Murderbot from that height. (hide spoiler)] So, TV. I much rather the books but am enjoying the show.
