hello. so, as you might have noticed I left goodreads for like a week (deleted my account and everything). stay safe on the internet, guys. but, uhhhh, what if I told you I'm back? The hospital was a drag, worst sleep that I ever had, I circled you on a map...

anyway, my return feels kinda like that one particular scene and we are going to talk about why it's one of rick's best scenes.

percy crashes his own funeral. and it's not really a great deep dive, but anyway.

so this scene is actually a pivotal percabeth moment.

neither annabeth or percy know what they are feeling for each other, yet annabeth is the one who is most distressed of all. this is one of the moments in which she starts to realise that percy is much more important to her than a friend.

and it is a very bad deep dive, but whatever.

next one will be better and it is gonna be about parallels between nico and thalia because I was offline for the last week and I have fresh ideas and figured out new parallels!

Autumn (L-L-L-Legendary Edition) (bookish_owl) | 96 comments Oh, I love that! I feel so bad for Annabeth! Half the people she loved "died" and then proceeded to show up again (some of them crashing their own funerals...) She's bound to be questioning every death by now!
