Hannibal | 19 comments I'm trying to compile my reading list for The Dark Tower Series, and I'm curious to know how important Desperation & The Regulators are to the series?

I've seen a few youtube videos about Dark Tower reading orders, and people seem lukewarm about including both but they almost always end up mentioning them so they must have SOME importance.

I'm also planning to CHOP The Eyes of the Dragon from the list but if anyone has a compelling argument I'd love to hear it.

NO SPOILERS PLEASE i'm just now starting The Drawing of the Three.

K Smith (justanotherbibliophile) | 8 comments Desperation (King) and The Regulators (Bachman) are mirrors of each other. Similar circumstances, familiar characters, different perspectives, different settings.... I really enjoyed both stories.
I do believe that it is the first place that I learned about the' can-toi'. If I remember correctly, can-toi are servants or something to the Crimson King?

I might have that wrong. If I do, someone correct me? Please.
