What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Hello,

I'm looking for recently released Portal Romantasy Book Recs. Portal fantasy is where one character gets transported to a magical realm and has to find a way back home or solve a problem to get home. Think of the Wizard of Oz. Romantasy being the main genre which means I would prefer a book that have equal parts romance and fantasy. I wouldn't mind mostly fantasy with romance, but ultimately I am looking for equal parts.

So I am looking for a book that has a character that falls in love with someone from a different realm from them. I wouldn't mind reading books from the early 2000s or the 1990s, however, I would prefer more recent releases that have this premise.

You may want to look at Awakening by Nora Roberts. It is book 1 of a trilogy and well worth the read.
