Nick’s mother rears her destructive head and gives an interview, “explaining” why Nick chose not to run, insinuating she had inside information. Did Nick handle it effectively or should he have done more? Was it the right thing for Sam to do in asking Avery to look into her and have a couple of agents give her a visit?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Nick handled the situation in a restrained and appropriate manner. There is not a lot he can do about her. It was very inappropriate for Sam to ask Avery to investigate her. She is a real piece of work, and I hope Avery finds something that will shut her up.

She’s the perfect example of why some people should never be a parent. Poor Nick. I thought he showed great restraint and said what needed to be said. Deep down, he wants a mother who loves him and letting that go is hard.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree. She never should have been a parent. It is natural for Nick to want his parent to love him, but she is beyond repair.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Nicoletta is out of control and beyond hope. Nick should have done something about her the last time when she was involved with Christopher Nelson.

He should not have contacted her this time but rather left it to his lawyers - that's their job. Let them do it.

As for some asking Avery for this favor - it makes sense as she wants to protect Nik, but it is another case of unprofessionalism - it crosses a line.
