Play Book Tag discussion

I really enjoy this series about a sentient AI that calls itself Murderbot. It’s the first thing I thought of for this month’s fun tag. Most of the books are very short and accessible. This is book #5 in the series, but the first full length book. This book is more substantial in other ways too. There is still a lot of action and humor, but it’s more complex. The AI builds deeper relationships with both humans and other AI. Mensah and her team are back, and I hope they will continue on. There is an amusing plot development about replication. It reminded me of the book We Are Legion (We Are Bob), and the film Multiplicity, but on a much smaller scale. It could get out of hand, but so far I like it.

I hope the upcoming streaming series will do justice to the Murderbot series, and that more adventures will be written soon by Wells.
