I would love to hear other people's opinions of it :)"
I adored this book, so much that I've read it three times, cover to cover, and I am infamous for never re-reading books. I can even attest to this further; when I was around 13, I dressed up as Scout for a literary dress up party, and gasped when people did not understand what I was referencing, or even the book itself (Shock!! Horror!!). I too would love to hear why you cherish this book! (Thank you for giving me an opportunity to express my profound attachment to this book!!)

This was in 1960 and could still be relevant to now…
Powerful story and good adaptation of the book in the film.
Some quotes that i liked:
There’s too many but these two stood out for me:
“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view, until you climb into his skin and walk around in it”
“People generally see what they look for, and hear what they listen for.”
