I haven’t been able to update on the chapters yet because I read while on a plane but now that I’m home I can finally update how I’m feeling about this book so far.
So far I have really been enjoying the storyline. The magic system in this book is so interesting and unique in my opinion and I love it! The cat and mouse type game that Rune and Gideon have started playing is also so intriguing and I can’t wait to find out what the outcome will be, it’s nerve wracking because it can very easily go really bad.

The way that Rune and Gideon keep trying to find out each other’s secrets while also realizing that they are attracted to the other and wondering what to do about it has been so much fun to read.
The chemistry that these two have with each other is amazing and I am eating it up!
I can’t wait to see what will happen next…

This is a YA Romantasy book with witches and witch hunters. I’ve heard a lot of great things so I’m excited :)
WHAT TO KNOW IF YOU WANT TO JOIN IN:
This mod read will start on Monday, July 14th and end on Thursday, August 7th.
This book is currently on Kindle Unlimited :)
You do not need to start the book exactly on the start date and/or finish it on the end date. I know we all read at different speeds so just as long as you start the book before August 6th, you can go ahead and finish it days after the end date if you need to. Also if you happen to read the book in one day, that's also fine!
I do ask that whenever you talk about anything plot wise in the book that you announce which chapter it's from and give spoiler warning.
