I just learned that they're making a movie based on Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.

One of my favorites. Looking forward to it.

I hope it can live up to the brilliance of the book. I know films have a tough row to hoe that way, but it is my favorite Weir Novel. on the plus side, I do also like Ryan Gosling, so that gives me hope.

That was a good book. I can only hope the movie even comes close.

I really enjoyed this book, great entertainment, fantastic ideas, scientifically plausible ..... maybe another story! It will be interesting how they make this in movie terms, there isn't many characters and the alien will be challenging and its very techy, not easy for this to have mass appeal. The Martian worked as a movie, although I thought the book was miles better.
