pleasee i need book recommendations with similar vibes (and mmc) as the Powerless trilogy by Lauren Roberts

red queen, there was some controversy for a while about who copied who cause they are so similar.

For the record, Red Queen has been out since 2015, that’s ten years ago. And powerless came out only a few years ago.
How is there any controversy about who copied who when the answer is obvious.
Also, red queen wasn’t the only book she copied.
I could list them, but the more I type, the angrier I get.

Why tf does powerless have so much hype?! I read all the books and yes, they did have rly great banter, but the plot was not in any way original 😑

On another note, If I had known what it was going to be going in, I NEVER would have picked it up in the first place.

But this is just my opinion.

Yup, I’m aware of that. It just makes me mad. And I will gladly express my opinion.

@Rowan not to get into it but Lauren wrote Powerless when she was 14 but released it a little ago (and I think she's 27, don't quote me on that)

She’s 22, so she would have been 12 when red queen was released.

(Despite my annoyance with the plots of her books, I will say that it’s impressive to get published at 19)
