5 (or 6)-year old Sophie has been kidnapped by her middle eastern grandparents and taken to Palestine. Her single-father Jack is desperate to get her back and gets himself involved in a theft of millions of dollars in hopes that it will help get Sophie home.
Audio. I was far less interested in the “bad guys’” points of view (not necessarily Sophie’s grandparents, but in the guys involved in the theft), but Jack’s story was good. Because of my lack of interest in some parts, it took a long time to figure out what was happening through some other parts of the book, but it got better by the end, once I finally figured out who some of those characters were and how they were involved.
