So I create and maintain a lot of lists. Many of these can be found through the links on the description starting with One Million Ratings!
As you all likely know, no one can vote on a list on more than 100 books - so maintaining a list with more than 100 books is a group activity. The easiest way to help maintain a list doesn't require you to be a librarian - it just requires you to vote for 100 books already on the list - from the back - for the books that have only 1 vote. And then a list maintainer can change their vote to something else.
There is a very lightly used group Listopia which is one of the ways I've attempted to muster support for helping maintain listopia lists.
I've tried a number of ways to drum up support to help maintain lists including trading votes (as in I help you maintain your obvious list and you help me maintain my obvious list).
I'm not the only compulsive list creator/maintainer with this issue. So where are all the rest of you?
In addition to the links to lists mentioned above, I offer up my Most Rated Book By Country. There are 80 or so countries left for the first pass on this list. One person voting on 100 books already on this list (from the bottom) - would mean this list could be initially completed.
