I’ve been looking at series numbering and I’m a bit confused. The Librarian Manual says that “anthologies and omnibus volumes/collections … should be placed after all primary works, not mixed in with them” and that they “should not be marked as primary works.”
However, I often see anthologies or short story collections listed with decimals (for example, #3.5) on Goodreads series pages. Am I misunderstanding the rule, or are decimals for anthologies/collections considered acceptable practice too?
