Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Goodreads is making a change where Librarians who have been inactive for an extended period of time will have their Librarian status removed. This change is being made to maintain a high quality catalog for all members by ensuring changes are performed by Librarians who are up-to-date with our tools and processes.

Going forward, any Librarian who is inactive for an extended period will automatically lose their status. Members who have their Librarian status removed due to inactivity but would like to have it reinstated are welcome to reapply. Please keep in mind that authors and publishers are not eligible for Librarian status, and preference is given to members who have made requests in the Librarians Group that reflect their knowledge of the Librarian Manual. Librarian status is granted at Goodreads’ discretion.
