Yikes, this is such a creepy book.

(view spoiler)[I am happy to see that the main character is a boy, I don't read much YA with male characters. The first picture that Dan finds is a bit creepy with the crossed out eyes. And it's even more creepy that these are real found photos from different asylums. The formatting is very similar to Miss Peregrine's but this books seems a bit more creepier. I can't wait to see what happens next. My only complaint so far is how awkward Dan seems. He wants to make a good impression so he can have friends, but it just makes him look odd. And what did you make of those dizzy spells he has? That was a little strange, when he almost passed out at the welcome party. (hide spoiler)]

Sorry I haven't even picked up this book yet. I just had to put my puppy down so it's been hard on me. I will try to pick this book up today.

Thank you, it's been hard but everyday is getting a little better. I think I will start the book tomorrow, at least I will try. But I will let you know tomorrow how I'm doing and if I will read.

I sorta feel like this book is a little slow to get into. But I guess I am just anxious for all the creepy stuff to happen already

No I haven't but I was going to read some of it today before I have to go to work. How far are you into it?

You will def be able to catch up, it's such an easy read and a lot of pages are just pictures. It's just hard to get into for me

Still haven't started sadly. Today was my final in my class so I've been studying and need to finish some late homework that I can only turn in tonight. So I will try to read some tonight if not tomorrow.

Yes I agree, thankfully I'm done with finals just finishing up late homework and project then I can just work and read.

Final projects were such a pain in the neck, as if you didn't have enough studying and work to do. Lol sometimes i think professors were purposely trying to make us fail

Yes I know my final wasn't to hard. Just after my puppy passed away school went down hill for me and I wasn't reading as much.

Have finally started this book about 6 chapters in so far, and it is quit interesting so far. Going to read more today. Reading 3 books right now so I'm going back and fourth between them all right now.
