Ana | 8 comments Hi, everyone! I'm Ana! I am an as of yet unpublished author besides an article or two that I wrote for magazines or contests, but I would love to publish a book someday. I'm kind of a multi-genre author right now as I have so many ideas for so many genres. My favorite genre is historical fiction, but I'm open to many different books.

message 4: by Mary (new)

Mary (literarypiesociety) I am Mary! I am a unpublished writer, but I dream of being published. I like in Southeastern North America, where it is hot, and humid. :P I write contemporary YA novels, but my favorite books to write are Fantasy.

Firefly (fireflys12) | 20 comments Hi! I'm Firefly! I'm a (crazy and somewhat random) unpublished author, though I do dream of publishing someday... *sigh* I live in North America, in New England, where we have cold winters and hot summers :o)I love to write Fantasy, but I write in many other genres as well.

No, there isn't. Because you are born with that ability. You can't go to school to learn it, you just know it.

Opal, I'm in the same situation. I want to go to college for electrical and computer engineering or computer science so I can be an engineer as my full time job, but I also want to write novels part time.

Cool! Often I feel like people who want to be full-time writers look at me out of the corner of their eye when I say things like that. Just because you don't want to be a full time author doesn't make you love writing any less :)

I agree! I will always be writing, but I don't really want that to be my full-time job.

Hope Hello everyone!
I'm Hope, and I live in the Southeast United States. I'm a homeschooling Christian that loves Disney, Marvel, and Tolkien way too much. I sort of have an obsession with old things. Especially old books. There's something about the way they smell. . . .

message 41: by Susanna (new)

Susanna Olson (weatherenthusiast) | 9 comments Hello everyone! My name is Susanna and I am a mostly unpublished writer (I'm not sure if a couple of pieces in magazines and anthologies count?). I am currently working on a historical fiction novel that I hope to publish the traditional way (through a literary agent and then big publisher) and a fantasy story that I am going to be sharing online through JukePop.

I love buffalo, wristwatches, and black licorice. I'm a sucker for murder mysteries, historical fiction, and children's literature.

I was homeschooled all my life, but this September I will be making the leap to move to Wales to start college. It is going to be a crazy journey, but I'm sure there will be lots of writing inspiration everywhere : )

I love meeting and learning from other young writers. I can't wait to get to know you all!

If you have a blog, I hope we can be blogging buddies. I hang out at http://youngladyexplorer.blogspot.com

message 42: by Mary (new)

Mary (literarypiesociety) Going to Wale for college!! Wow! Is that really far from where you live?

I will have to check out your blog! I was just thinking this afternoon of opening up a topic where we could share our blogs at. :)

message 43: by Susanna (new)

Susanna Olson (weatherenthusiast) | 9 comments Yeah, I live in the Southern United States, so it is gonna be a HUGE change. I'm more scared and more excited than I've ever been about anything in my entire life.

Great idea! I'd love to see if anyone else has a blog I could read.

message 44: by Mary (new)

Mary (literarypiesociety) Yes! But I bet it is beautiful there. I would love to go to Europe one day. Whether or not I will ever go there is a good question, but I can always dream I will.

message 45: by Susanna (new)

Susanna Olson (weatherenthusiast) | 9 comments Never stop dreaming. I've been dreaming of going to Europe my whole life. It always seemed crazy and far away, and now I'll be living there for three years (at least). You just never know what will happen.
