Oops I'm in one of those. I must admit I haven't participated and therefore have not witnessed anything sinister but I'll keep my head up.

I'm a member of four of those, but that doesn't mean I agree with the way these groups are organized/managed.

Like Pete Townshend said

There is too much censorship here. I didn't realise the cancel culture started here.

The thing about these enemy groups is this: I've already been through the wringer with them.

That's why I call them out so specifically. That's why I bitch them out. I've already been jacked-over from them, so I name them out, so that you don't have to experience what I went through.

You can continue to enjoy membership there as well as here. It's just fine to cruise along if you want to do so.

But just watch what happens when you run afoul of their moderators the way I did. I got "pounced on", and the moderators allowed it.

Plenty of times, it was me simply voicing my favorite movie and dissing someone else's favorite movie. Yep--as simple as that. There's rampant clique-ism in these other outfits.

They 'play favorites', as I discovered to my surprise. Whereas in the groups I moderate, no one gets any more deference than anyone else.

If you think this is overly-censorious, that's your call to make. I see it differently.

H'mmm. But they don't call me 'Iron Feliks' for whimsy. Once a counter-revolutionary or Trotskyist lands on the Lubyanka short-list, it's very rare for their families to secure a release. That's what goes, in Dzerzhinsky Square.
