Frogli | 118 comments Chosen because I had a very pretty edition sitting on my shelf making me feel guilty that I'd never read it. Also I rather like (non sparkly) vampires.

I actually really enjoyed it, and it was interesting to finally read the original.I hadn't realised it was an epistolary novel but I think in a way that made it an easier read.


Larissa (laracvanti) i didn't know it would be epistolary, either but it was a pleasant surprise. what did you think of the book in comparison to the many movies on vampirism and Dracula?
have you heard of Carmila? it is a must if you are interested in a feminine account of vampirism
