Book Trailer - do you use them?

Hi I did a book trailer for this today (as I loved this book) and just wondered whether anyone actually uses book trailers to decide on reading books?
I've only recently began doing them, but won't bother if it's a useless exercise.
Also, not sure if book trailers capture's a book as well as a written review?

I choose my books by the cover, what is written in the preview as lastly what comments people make about the book.
