Okay, gang, here's the latest... we moderators have had extensive discussions and this is what we decided on: due to popular demand we will continue to have monthly books from the Original WB Rory Book Club list. However, we will be nominating all 12 books for the year now.

So, what we need you to do is nominate *SIX* classics and *SIX* modern books. Please list each six in order of most wanted on down. The top six of each will be the selections for the year. The moderators will together decide which book for which month and post the list before the new year. Please understand that if you do not nominate six in each that you will not be voting for all the months of the year. That is your choice, but you only get one vote per month this time, so I recommend using them all.

Below is the list of the classics from the main list that we have yet to read as a group. Nominate your six from this list. The voting will end Saturday the 26th (Boxing Day).

• A Passage to India by E.M. Forster
• An American Tragedy by Theodore Dreiser
• Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
• Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

Kristi -- I certainly DID. Thanks for calling that to my attention. My votes would all have ended up null if I hadn't posted these in the correct threads. I was probably half asleep or something.
