Jan Talkington | 31 comments The most books I've read in one year since I started keeping up with it is 120. The past 2 years I've only read about 1 a week, so I'm ready to step it up again. Looking forward to this challenge.

I have Angry Wives Eating Bon Bons on my TBR list. I guess I need to move it up the ladder if it is a good one. Thanks for the heads up! Vicky

Jan Talkington | 31 comments Got my 12 in February. I'm pretty pleased with that since it was a short month and a busy month. My favorites were Risk Pool, Promise Not to Tell: A Novel and One Thousand White Women: The Journals of May Dodd.

Jan Talkington | 31 comments So I got 16 in March - counting theNIV Bible: New International Version that I've been reading since January. Of course, it's one of my favorites. It was a good month with 6 others that I rate highly -
Your Oasis on Flame Lake
Love Mercy: A Mother and Daughter's Journey from the American Dream to the Kingdom of God
Some Things That Stay
The Condition
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
The Bean Trees

I hope you all had as good of a March as I did.

Jan Talkington | 31 comments So I only got 9 read in April. It was a busy month with 2 weekend trips, but I got some good reads in. I actually had 4 favorites -

The Help
Whistling In the Dark
That Old Cape Magic
Henry's Sisters

I've read several Richard Russo books now and he's surprisingly becoming one of my favorites. The Wicked series - not so much.

Jan Talkington | 31 comments Not many in May. I kind of hit a wall and not at a good time since I was reading "The Pillars of the Earth." I enjoyed all 3 books that I read this month though, so it was a good one.
