Nice Girls Don't Live Forever is the last book in Molly Harper's series about the adventures of Jane Jameson, former (living) librarian and now (undead) owner of an occult bookstore in small town Kentucky. A whacky cast of supporting characters that you will love. Red-neck were-wolves, white-trash trailer living mothers, vamps who were "outed" by a tax accountant who didn't think that being undead should interfere with his chosen profession. . . A 5 star read for me.

Jael--I'm in a total of 7 challenges right now. So I have some over-lap on my books. The last book I posted I was able to actually use in FOUR of my challenges. That was a good one. Sigh, the last book I read I could only use in 3. I just finished Once Dead, Twice Shy, which is a YA. I gave it 5 stars. If anyone else decides that its interesting, you might want to know that the "backstory" (or beginning, or whatever) is a short story in Prom Nights from Hell. I loved that short story collection. lol, of course, the fact that I didn't go to MY senior prom might have something to do with my view--well the reason for it. I went to a VERY large school--almost 8k kids in it, going 2 different shifts. Dances were expected to be "both shifts participate" events. There were 2000 kids in the senior class, and about 500 more than that in the Junior class. So we were expected to get approval at the beginning of the year if we planned on attending Prom with someone who was NOT in our class. Hey, I didn't even know anyone AT the school, except for the half dozen kids that lived around my house and that I'd met that summer. (Dad was Navy, we moved a LOT.) Anyway, I wanted the foreign exchange student (college) who was staying with us to take me. And when I was informed "no way, Jose" I got a little tiny bit ticked. Sigh, so, I didn't go at all.

I just joined this group thanks to Cherra (thanks!) and I want to join the challenge. I'm already doing another challenge so some of my books will overlap.

Hi Ann, thanks for the welcome! I've got faith you'll find a fae book somewhere under a sheet, LOL!!! I only have one bookshelf holding my books here, the rest are kept in large shopping bags hidden in my guest room. Hubby has seen the bags but has no concept of just how many books they contain. ;)

Was Nights Cold Kiss any good? Its on my TBR

Jael, for your challenges, do you want us to do new posts as we go, or just edit our original post as we read them? I'm guessing for the year long challenges it would be better to just edit the original post, but I wasn't sure how you do the monthly ones.

@Laura since I don't do updates and there aren't a lot of people participating , maybe just editing your original post would be better and than once you have completed the challenge you can put up a new post with your completed list.
