I love this series, it is definietly one of my favourites. It has a great plot full of twists and turns and very well developed characters that you can't help but fall in love with. I'm dieing for the next book to come out, it's killing me not knowing what will happen next. So what do all of you think of the series, are you just as impatient for the next one to come out as I am?

What one is your favourite, and I think that it might be my second too, but I can't decide if I like the BDB series more or not yet.

witches and wicca it has 15 book the first one i think is the coven i cant remember but their romance novels i read then earlier this month

I just started the first book yesterday and it is sooooo good! However I like Twilight series first, So far I like Vampire Academy more than House of Night and I'm only on the first book and I love House of Night. I want to read Vampire Diaries because I love the show, but I have a kindle and it's not on the kindle so I haven't gotten it yet..I keep voting on Amazon for them to get it on the kindle cause I want to read it soooo bad :)

I was thinking about reading it too cause I like the show, but decided maybe I shouldn't. I think that I've I read it I might not like the show anymore, just like with Twilight, read the books first hated the movies, so I think that I'll just watch the show and when it's over if i still want to read it than maybe I will.

i hated the books but i love the show their alot different

The TV show is different to the books, from what I have seen so far (Which is like four episodes) but I agree with Bec. I like the TV shows better. The fifth book is horrible!!! (at least I think its the fifth book, I can't remember)

Yeah, it continues after Katherine has died. The fifth is Nightfall Return or something like that.

okay well ill have to get them then

then the second one to the Return series comes out in April. The vampire diaries show missed alot, and I think it would have been better if they went from the book.

I didn't like the first Vampire Diaries book either, but they get better as the series continues....

That's like with a lot of book series though. The first book isn't usually that good because its starting up the series. But that's not for all books.

i agree with ellen. Take evernight for example. the first book wasn't too flash, but it got better toward the end and in the second book. It's the same with the house of night. althouugh i think they shud have stopped that series at the 5th book, they're running out of ideas:D

I agree with that too especially about the House of Night, the books are get worse instead of better.

and about VA, it was the 2nd vamp series i have ever read and by far my favourite. i can't wait fo spirit bound:D i love dimitri:D

I wouldn't be able to pick a favourite book in the VA series. I can pick my least favourite (BP) but not my favourite.
I hate it when books get off track! When they have no main aim throughout the whole series and the author just writes books and they lose their touch. Blah. Not good.

cuz it's the one where rose wants dimitri but she can't have him. and vice versa. they want each other, but one is trying to push themself away.

I like it when she makes him jealous. and i liek it when they go and fight the strigoi at the end. And lissa isn't really involved in the book. i don't really like her. she's too needy.

Although i loved all of the VA books, i think Shadow Kiss was my fave. To me, it just seemed to have everything.
From the novice tests, to Rose seeing ghosts, to Rose and Dimitri acknowledging their feelings, to the dreaded end of the book....it just had it all!!

ino, but i find i can read frostbite over and over...i think the problem with shadow-kissed is that it's TOO good, if u get my drift. i mean, it's so good that i have every bit memorized. some parts are so good that i kinda end up skipping to them, like the end of the book and the ghost parts. i know every bit off by heart that it's not as intersting to read again and again:D

I get that, i guess. I more or less know that book off by heart too... and i suppose that could make the others in the series more appealing sometimes.

Ashara and Rachel i so understand your love for Dimka but I dont think i could turn strigoi to be with him cuz he isnt the same. I def like his dhampir personality A LOT better. and plus...he doesnt seem to really LOVE rose anymore as a strigoi, maybe deep deep DEEP down he does but i think now he loves the thought of her more because she would be a powerful asset to him and his evil schemes and he even told her that in different words. i totally love dimitri but i couldnt turn strigoi for him.

also...what do you guys think will happen in spirit bound???...wait am i asking this question in the wrong discussion? lol

haha, no way is this the wrong discussion:P I must say i think that they will find a way to save him, but it wont actually HAPPEN in the book. i think they'll attempt to free victor.I think the last book will be absolutely fantastic and that spirit bound will only really be the set-up. i'm not really sure WHAT will happen:P anyone else have any ideas?

I agree with Ashara. I think that Spirit Bound will be the set up for the last book. I think that Spirit Bound will focus on Rose and her quest to free Victor and find a way to save Dimitri. I think she may possibly find a way, but i believe that Richelle will leave it until the final book to actually have Rose 'save Dimka'. I have NO CLUE how she'll manage that, though i think it's pretty obvious that spirit will have something to do with it.
I think the last book is possibly going to be the most important in the series, with more happening. I also think Dimka won't be saved until the very end as well.

favourite vampire series at the moment. actually I want to read the whole series again while I'm waiting for the next book.

I didn't like the ending to Blood Promise that much though. I almost screamed when it said Dimka was still alive and hunting her down. I was actually happy but sad thinking Rose had actually managed to kill him. Cos he never wanted to be strigoi. I'm happy that he is alive though. I believe he does still love Rose, however it's buried deep deep deep down.

I can not wait for Spirit Bound! I agree Ashara too. I think it'll be a set up for the last.

im on the 2nd book now! im gonna buy it on tuesday!
