Will looked at Jem. His eyes were bluer than blue, his cheeks flushed. He said, “Then you have wasted your time.”
Jem stared back at him. “God damn you,” he said, and hit Will across the face, sending him spinning. He didn’t lose his footing, but fetched up against the side of the carriage, his hand to his cheek. His mouth was bleeding. He looked at Jem with total astonishment.
“Get him into the carriage,” Jem said to Tessa, and turned and went back through the red door — to pay for whatever Will had taken, Tessa thought. Will was still staring after him.
“James?” he said.

I remember that from Cassandra Clare's blog. How nice of her, considering I had recently been looking for Clockwork Prince excerpts.

It appears there is trouble in paradise, can't wait for the book.

Another reason I can't wait is because Jem is supposed to be on the cover. I'm really looking forward to seeing him.

jealousy and guilt hmmm i wonder if it has anything to do with what happened in the last part of the book. probably does.

Cecily is some girl, I think.
Remember, Will bit the vampire? So he had to pour holy water on himself. When Tessa went up to the attic to give him a bucket of holy water, she heard him saying the name Cecily. Page 285.

That would explain why Alec has features that resemble Will.

I guess I'm just an Other, My school is basically spilt between rednecks, preps, emo's and "the others", which is the group of people who don't really reside in any of the 3 main groups.

my school is the INs, the nerds, the OUTs, and then my group. we're not in the IN group but we r high enough on the popularity chart that we arnt bullied of teased much and we are acknowledged by everyone.

Aw, Jem and Will's brotherly-relationship is so sweet but it seems like it'll go through some rough patches in Clockwork Prince.
