A knower of the truth travels without leaving a trace...

Wow. What immediately sprung to mind was Wayne Dyer's warning "Don't die with your music still in you." Also, there is an important lesson about trusting others and our own inner knowing that we will know what to do when it comes time to be the student and eventually the teacher. There is also an important note about fostering connections that go beyond just imparting knowledge....it feels like this verse says to give more of ourselves without using our knowledge as a crutch. You can be smart. You can quote books. But if you can't give enough of yourself so that others trust, respect and actually know you (authenticity) than your knowledge will never truly be appreciated or fully understood. To me I think authenticity plays a large part in accruing wisdom.

A knower of the truth travels without leaving a trace,
speaks without causing harm, gives without keeping an account. The door he shuts, though having no lock, cannot be opened. The knot he ties, though using no cord, cannot be undone.
Be wise and help all beings imparitally, abanonding none. Waste no opportunities. this called following the light.
What is a good man but a bad man's teacher? What is a bad man but a good man's job? If the teacher is not respected and the student is not cared for, confusion will arise, however clever one is. This is the great secret.
